Anna ISD Special Programs Center is compromised of Credit Recovery and DAEP. Special programs serves five local school districts (Anna ISD, Melissa ISD, Celina ISD, Van Alstyne ISD, and Blue Ridge ISD)
Credit Recovery is designed to help students who have fallen behind academically, catch up and graduate with their classmates.
The DAEP (disciplinary alternative education program) was designed for students who have been placed with us generally as a result of behavior that has caused their removal from the regular classroom.
Both programs are designed to improve student performance academically as well as make them better citizens of the world that we live in. This is accomplished through a highly structured, student centered environment where students can learn without many of the usual teenage stressors and distractions.
While the focus is always on the student both programs are highly structured and students are expected to abide by all rules at all times in order to achieve success in the programs.
