Graduation is right around the corner and Anna High School Seniors are making plans for college! One Senior, Noah Bert, recently had some exciting news for his future plans. Since the age of 7, while attending an Aggie football game, Noah began making plans for college. On October 3rd, 2016, Noah’s dream came true after being accepted into Texas A&M University and then in December 2016, the prestigious College of Engineering.

Throughout middle and high school, Noah has been a dedicated Anna ISD band student. He started out playing the trumpet and played it through his sophomore year. At that time, his band director, Mr. Burk, asked him if he would be interested in switching to the baritone which he has played ever since. Over the past two years, Noah has served as the baritone section leader. After attending "Aggie Eagle Weekend" hosted by the Corps of Cadets for Eagle Scouts, Noah decided he was interested in joining the band. This past winter, Noah began practicing the audition music, and on May 13th, he traveled to College Station for his audition and he left a new member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band! The Aggie band consists of strictly members of the Corps of Cadets and is nationally known for its precision military marching formations on the football gridiron. This 300+ member organization is the largest military marching band in the nation. Upon asking Noah what he was most excited about, he said, “I’m excited about performing marches at all home football games on Kyle Field and getting to go to away games.” While in the Corps, Noah plans on pursuing the Leadership Certification program.

Anna High School is so very proud of Noah, and we wish him the best of luck as he continues fulfilling these lifelong dreams as a Fightin' Texas A&M Aggie! Senior Noah Bert
